Electrical Equipment Testing

Practical in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment — commonly known as PAT testing — with clear records, straightforward communication and a direct point of contact.

What happens during a visit?

  1. Check-in and site requirements. We confirm access, equipment that cannot be switched off, any permits or induction requirements and the agreed scope.
  2. Visual inspection. Equipment, plugs, cables and accessible parts are checked for obvious damage or unsafe conditions.
  3. Electrical testing where appropriate. The test applied depends on the equipment class, construction and situation.
  4. PASS / FAIL identification. Items are labelled and failed items are clearly recorded for the customer.
  5. Digital paperwork. Results are turned into a customer report / asset register and Electrical Equipment Inspection & Testing Certificate.
